Epicenter Land Corp announces a significant strategic investment in Matrix Studios in London.  Matrix is a 40,00 sq. ft. recording/creative office campus in the prime location of Fulham/Parsons Green area of West London.  Matrix Studios has been in the recorded music business for nearly 50 years with some of Britain’s most iconic music acts recording there including The Police, Sex Pistols, The Clash and Oasis.  Over time the recording studio element expanded to include creative office space with numerous music/creative industry tenants leasing the premises currently.

Matrix, the studio home of rock icons the Police, Coldplay and Oasis, is also a thriving co-working space.

(October 2024; Los Angeles, Calif.) – Mikel Elliott, managing partner of Epicenter Landcorp (ELC), announced today that ELC has completed a significant equity investment in Matrix Studios in London.  The placement by ELC, a Los Angeles industrial and commercial real estate investment group, represents its first overseas venture.   

Matrix, established in 1977, has long been one of London’s premier recording studios, hosting music legends such as the Police, Coldplay and Oasis. It has also evolved into a thriving co-working space with amenities including an on-site cafe, courtyard and meeting rooms.  With nearly 30,000 square feet of creative office space and recording studios, Matrix has developed a unique creative community anchored by a number of high-profile music tenants. “We have been looking to expand into the U.K market and we wanted an artist-centric creative space,” said ELC’s Mikel Elliott. “Matrix Studios is almost always fully booked because it’s got a great team that knows how to run a great property.” (can be expanded)

Epicenter will be teaming with London-based partners to expand Matrix Studios beyond its current footprint with future development rights on site, as well as other off-property acquisitions.
